Graham spent the night in the Dominican Republic last night and made it to Haiti this morning. I got a call from him before 7AM from the DR asking me to contact Verizon and see why he wasn't getting Internet service on his Blackberry. He said they were about to take off, and I could hear an engine in the background. He is back in business now and able to post himself. I received an e-mail from him at 10:30 saying he had arrived "no problem."
I also learned the Episcopal priest on La Gonave said their buildings survived the latest aftershock. That's great news!
Jere Wells invited Graham to speak to the Westminster high school students last Tuesday at their assembly. They videotaped it, and it's up on the Westminster website. Jere was on the mission trip with Graham when the earthquake hit. He shared about their experience, and then Graham explained what supplies he was consolidating to down there on this present trip. It's long, but if you'd like to see Graham talking about his trip, you can go to:
www.westminster.net
and click on "High School Assembly on Haiti."
